Dr. Timothy Ford
Dr. Timothy Ford is a Podiatric physician and surgeon in Louisville Ky. After receiving his undergraduate degree he attended The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland Ohio one of only seven colleges that specialize exclusively in the treatment of Foot and Ankle disorders. After completing this 4 year postgraduate curriculum he subsequently completed another 2 years of residency in Podiatric medicine and surgery at the James C. Giuffre Medical Center in Philadelphia Pennsylvania [North Philadelphia Hospital Systems]. To ensure the quality of medical and surgical skills needed for your patient care Dr. Ford continued his education and obtaining Board Certifications from the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Primary Podiatric Medicine and Orthopedics.
Dr. Ford is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Kentucky Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. Dr. Ford is the former president of the Kentucky Podiatric Medical Association and Director and Founder of The Podiatric Residency Program @ Jewish Hospital and St MaryŌ³ Healthcare affiliated with the University of Louisville where Dr Ford is the Chief of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery within the Department of Orthopedics. He is a clinical instructor and faculty member at the University School of Medicine within the departments of Family and Community Medicine and Orthopedics. A member of the Council on Podiatric Medical Education for the past 7 years he was recently elected as Chairman of the Council in 2011. Dr. Ford continues to actively participate and investigate in research in the field of Foot and Ankle diseases with national and international interests.
