Dr Ford and the Podiatric Residency/Fellowship Program at KentuckyOne Health (Jewish and University of Louisville Hospital's) will be presenting a new technique in the surgical treatment of symptomatic pediatric/adolescent flatfoot deformity. Augmentation of the calcaneal-navicular ligament or "spring ligament" is being performed as an adjuctive procedure to improve the overall outcome in pediatric/adolscent flatfoot deformity. A series of cases will be reported at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Annual Scientific Seminar in Phoenix AZ in February 2015.
